Common Questions

Can Physical Therapy help with my condition?
Physical Therapists receive their doctorate with understanding and ability to treat a variety of conditions and diagnoses.  At Origin we take your goals, proven therapeutic techniques, the latest research and objective measurements to create a unique plan for you.  We created this company to improve the quality of life of its patients and employees.  If one of our skilled therapists determines that other services would be a better fit, then we will happily help you get to the right provider for you.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we take a variety of insurances.  Our office will be happy to assist in contacting your insurance company to determine your coverage based on your individual policy. We encourage you to contact them directly as well should you have any questions regarding coverage and deductibles.  We are happy to answer any questions you have prior to your visit with us as well!
Do I need a prescription or referral?
Technically, no.  Nevada is a direct access state which allows you to visit your therapist independent of a referral or script. However, your insurance provider may have separate requirements regarding this.  Some insurances require a referral but this is highly variable.  If you are unsure if your insurance requires this please feel free to contact your insurance and reach out to our office, and we will be happy to assist you.
How long will my appointment be?
The scheduled appointment length is 40 minutes, but this may vary depending on case severity and response to treatment.
Do you do virtual visits?
Yes, we schedule online appointments regularly.  If you are having transportation issues, sick, or trouble making the appointment, our team will gladly provide you education and self-administered treatment techniques to restore your level of function.
What should I bring to my appointment?
It is recommended to bring any x-rays or MRI’s you may have, medication lists, operative reports, in addition to any other testing results.  Also wear closed toe shoes if possible and comfortable attire that will allow access to the treatment area.
